Warhammer & Our World

I’ll be fixing this later because I’m a little sleep deprived currently. It’s like six something in the morning.

The Chaos Gods of the Warhammer franchise are Games Workshop’s take on something very real. Perhaps these characters are brand new entities introducing themselves.

They could also be existing entities presenting themselves under a new name. But the more boring & mundane answer is that they’re simply inspired by the real deal. Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Malal.

Tzeentch can be found wherever there is political, and social intrigue. Schemes as far as the eye can see.

Khorne can be found on the bloodstained battlefields, and fighting cages of the world. Go out, and fight until you’re the best. Until you’re strong enough to challenge the true number one. Something men have tried to do since the dawn of time. But there’s always another challenge, and it’s so lonely at the top.

Slaanesh can be found online in your google searches on lonely Friday nights. When a man sleeps with his secretary, the whispers of temptation are present. When a woman insists on being tied up, and gagged. Slaanesh smiles devilishly.

Wherever you can find instability & pure chaos in it’s truest form. Malal was there. Malal’s destructive nature knows no bounds. A collapsing tower destroying families or a deranged psycho in a public place. All of it serves a purpose for Malal.

Corruption & decay are Nurgle’s doing. Every new disease is his baby, and every rotting corpse is welcomed into his bosom. He delights in despair, and the collapse of life.

Entities like this have been present in our world since the beginning. From Mesopotamia to the Modern West. All religions, and cultures.

Chaos is neither good nor bad. It simply is what it is, and it’s necessary for life. Be crushed by it or become greater because of it.
